Skip to content Latisse® is an FDA-approved prescription medication used to treat inadequate or insufficient eyelashes, known as hypotrichosis. It works by increasing the amount and length of the eyelashes. Latisse® contains bimatoprost, which helps to stimulate eyelash growth. When applied to the base of the upper eyelashes, it helps to increase the length, thickness, and darkness of the eyelashes.

Latisse® should be applied nightly. A single application of Latisse® is applied to the upper eyelid margin with a sterile applicator.
Before applying Latisse®, make sure to remove contact lenses and any makeup around the eyes. Using the sterile applicator, apply a thin line of Latisse® along the skin of the upper eyelid margin, starting from the inner part of the eyelid. Do not apply the Latisse® solution to the lower eyelid. Any excess solution should be blotted away from the eyelid margin.
Generally, the first results of Latisse® can be seen within two to four weeks of use, with full results visible after 16 weeks of use.
